The Montage Cylinder Creation System is a basic program that allows you to engrave Tiff images on a Spectrum engraver without needing to use Collage.

The Montage Cylinder System is a basic program that allows you to engrave Tiff images on a Spectrum engraver without needing to use Collage.

The Montage program is ideal for the customer who wants the expanded capability of a Spectrum engraver, but does not want to invest in the Collage Layout Software.

The Montage Workflow

The Mac operator creates the fully stepped-and-repeated layout, complete with registration marks. The file is saved as a Tiff in a shared folder.

On the Spectrum engraver (or a remote computer), the operator selects the Tiff file, selects one color (separation), sets the screen, angle and other output parameters, and saves the file as a Cylinder Job. This process can be repeated for each color of the Tiff file.

The operator can then engrave each Cylinder Job.
