Using the OHIO Dashboard for Support

The engraver Dashboard provides troubleshooting assistance by packaging machine log files or configuration to be emailed to Customer Support. For general information on the Dashboard, including how to open it, refer to your Operator Manual. The Operator Manual is also available here.

To open the Dashboard:

1. On any computer on the same network as the engraver, open a web browser and maximize the window.
2. Enter the engraver IP address followed by :8000
   For example: 191.9.250.61:8000

To package the machine log files:

1. Click the log file button.

2. In the Save As dialog, specify the location where the file should be stored. The file is automatically named @spectrum-dash-logs.tar.gz@

You should save this file onto a computer (not the engraver's computer) that has email access.

To package the configuration files as a backup or to send to Ohio Customer Support:

1. Click the Backup button.

2. In the Save As dialog, specify the location where the file should be stored. The file is automatically named @spectrum-dash-cfgs.tar.gz@

If you need to send this file to OHIO, save it onto a computer that has email access. If you are creating a backup, save it to the appropriate location.

 

Note: The OHIO Dashboard is available on Spectrums, Prisms, and HS engravers that have been upgraded to Spectrum software and controls.
